KUALA LUMPUR, March 1 (Bernama) -- Kelab AmBank Group (KAG) recently collaborated with the National Blood Centre to organise a blood donation drive at the Capital City Entertainment Mall in Tampoi, Johor Bahru.
According to a statement, about 100 donors took part in the donation drive.
“This is the sports club’s first blood donation drive for this year, as AmBank Group continues to play its part as a caring corporate organisation to raise awareness on the importance of blood donation,” said club president, Syed Anuar Syed Ali.
Syed Anuar, who is also the group’s executive vice-president for group corporate communications and marketing, added the company aimed to encourage the public to donate blood to the Johor Blood Bank.
He was present at the campaign, along with other KAG committee members.
