KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 17 (Bernama) -- Global credit rating agency, AM Best will take part in the Pacific Insurance Conference scheduled for Sept 23 to 25 in Seoul, South Korea.
Themed “Transformative Leadership: Reaching New Heights in Insurance”, the event will discuss growth strategies, international expansion, regulation, and capital management, as well as the impact of artificial intelligence and technology.
AM Best senior director and head of analytics, Christie Lee, will speak at a breakout session titled “Regulatory – Asset Intensive Deals, ILS and Captives” on Sept 25, according to a statement.
Based in Hong Kong, Lee oversees a team of rating analysts covering insurers across Greater China, Japan and Korea, including life, non-life, reinsurers and captive insurers.
In addition, AM Best Singapore’s managing director and chief executive officer, Rob Curtis, together with market development analyst KaiJun Chan, will also attend the conference.
Both representatives will be available for meetings with industry professionals interested in AM Best’s role in the insurance sector, including its credit ratings and related resources.
The conference will be held at the Grand Hyatt Seoul and is organised by the Korea Life Insurance Association, in collaboration with the Asia Insurance Leadership Forum.
