KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 (Bernama) -- Carrier Asia has broadened its commitment to support the drive for lower global warming refrigerant solutions with the new Carrier AquaEdge and AquaForce chillers.
The AquaEdge 19XR and 23XR water-cooled chillers and AquaForce 30KA/XA/XB air-cooled and 30XW/HX water-cooled chillers can be used with R-134a and lower global warming potential options, including hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) and blends such as R450A and R513A.
“We believe R-134a will continue to provide the best combination of availability, cost, performance and safety for many years to come,” said UTC Climate, Controls & Security, Asia Pacific, director (Strategy, Marketing and Communications), Sanjeev Yadav.
“The ability to convert our R-134a chillers to other refrigerants provides owners and facility managers even greater options that ensure the full useful life of this chiller,” he added.
