KUALA LUMPUR, May 23 (Bernama) -- Over 300,000 competitively-priced hotels and 29,000 car rental locations around the globe can be redeemed by Singapore Airlines Krisflyer members, via 'Krisflyer vRooms' -- a platform for the members to redeem miles for the services.
Points International Ltd -- a global leader in powering loyalty commerce and Krisflyer -- the Singapore Airlines Group´s frequent-flyer programme, has entered into strategic partnership to provide additional option for over 3.5 million members to use their miles.
Points in a statement said the Krisflyer members will be able to fully redeem with miles or make a partial redemption by mixing miles with cash. Members can start redeeming with a minimum of 1,500 KrisFlyer miles.
Chief Executive Officer of Points, Rob MacLean said that the partnership will drive value for all stakeholders, as well as showcase their continued efforts to innovate.
Meanwhile, Singapore Airlines Senior Vice-President Marketing Planning, Tan Kai Ping said that hotels and car rentals are a perfect complement to KrisFlyer as a frequent flyer programme, as these redemption options extend through the travel category.
