VIRTUS Extends Leadership Position in London Premium Hybrid Data Centre Market
LONDON, Dec 1 (Bernama-GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- VIRTUS Data Centres (VIRTUS), the UK’s fastest growing data centre provider, today announced it has completed the purchase of the company that owns and operates Infinity’s Slough Data Centre, from Infinity SDC Limited.
This strategic investment accelerates VIRTUS’ business growth even further following ST Telemedia’s investment earlier this year. It also increases its portfolio of high quality, cloud centric metro data centres, making it one of the largest hybrid data centre providers in London. VIRTUS acquired 100% of the share capital in the operating company which owns the Slough Data Centre, now known as VIRTUS LONDON4. The assets, operating staff and customers of the Infinity Slough business have all transferred to VIRTUS through the transaction.
