KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 (Bernama) -- Billups, a global Out-of-Home (OOH) managed services agency has announced the acquisition of Billie Media, a New Zealand-based specialist OOH agency.
According to Billups in a statement, this follows its acquisitions of Outsight, TAC Media and OOH Labs, all since September 2023.
Billups Co-founder, Benjamin Billups said the Australia and New Zealand OOH market is a billion-dollar-plus advertising opportunity, as customer demand has driven the company’s major expansion over the past year, and they trust Billups to have the team and technology in place to deliver return of investment (ROI).
“Billie Media’s core local focus on expertise, data and tech will help enhance our promise to advertisers for a solutions-focused, centralised and accountable approach to driving engagement and value through OOH experiences,” he said.
Meanwhile, Billie Media Director and Co-founder, Ben Poole said: “Our customers will get tremendous benefit from the centralised, global offering Billups brings to Australia and New Zealand.

Founded in Auckland in 2021, Billie Media has developed well-regarded in-house technology, creative optimisation and measurement solutions as well as managed and executed both static and digital OOH activations for a slate of local and global brands.
This acquisition brings Billups’ full suite of OOH solutions and services to the Australia and New Zealand market for the first time in which it has acquired agencies in Belgium, Canada and Malaysia, starting in September last year.
This expansion gives significant advantages to global and local customers who benefit from the enhanced scale of Billups’ targeting, measurement and optimisation platform.
