KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 18 (Bernama) -- YouCam Makeup platform and suite of virtual apps have been honoured with the 2018 International Innovation Award, presented by Enterprise Asia - a non-governmental entrepreneur organisation that hosts the annual regional awards.
The award was accepted by Vice President of Business Development at Perfect Corp Louis Chen in a ceremony in Macau, China recently.
The platform and suite of apps was chosen in the Service and Solution category, honouring the advanced artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR) and deep learning technologies to redefine and reimagine the consumer and brand beauty shopping experience.
The judges recognised YouCam Apps for its advancements in facial detection and tracking and how implementing AI’s deep learning technology has helped to deliver the most true-to-life virtual beauty try-ons, a statement said.
YouCam Makeup’s unique, innovative Beauty SaaS was trusted by over 200 brands and retailers worldwide and the solutions have been implemented in a range of consumer touchpoints including in-store consultations, web consultations and SDK implementation.
This year, Enterprise Asia received over 160 entries from 30 countries across 24 industries. YouCam Apps is honoured to be among the 16 companies recognised in the Service and Solution category.
