NRI adds new function to respond to Flexible Options

KUALA LUMPUR, June 28 (Bernama) -- Nomura Research Institute Ltd (NRI) announced that I-STAR/CORE has added a new function to respond to a new listed options trading method, Flexible Options -- introduced by Osaka Exchange Inc (OSE) recently.

Flexible Options trading enables contract terms to be negotiated, customised, registered with the exchange and then delivered to financial institutions twice a day, a statement said.

Previously, I-STAR/CORE had been revamped with enriched real-time processing, reliability and expandability. The addition of Flexible Options can automatically upload the security information once delivered to financial institutions.

Users of I-STAR/CORE enable to manage limitation of positions and deposits, engage in market syndication, reconciliation and accounting as well as create regulatory reports for external institutions that are compliant with market standards and ongoing mandates.
