KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 6
(Bernama) – Omcorp Sdn Bhd, a supplier of dry halal ingredients
to Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd, is forecasting sales revenue to hit
RM6.0 million in 2018 after having raked in RM3.6 million, as of Aug 2017.
Established in 1994, Omcorp was selected for a
hand holding programme under the Multinational Corporation/Limited

collaboration between the Halal Industry Development Corporation
(HDC) and multinational companies (MNCs).
Under the programme, HDC and Nestle assisted
Omcorp to become a supplier of dry halal ingredients like chicken stock,
chicken fats and extract, meat powder and fats and beef extract to the

to explore bigger market.
The partnership has encouraged industry sharing among MNCs
and local halal companies.
Other MNCs participating in the programme
