TOKYO, Jan 23 (Bernama-AsiaNet) -- Japan's Agency for Cultural
Affairs organizes participation in various overseas media art festivals
through projects planned and managed by NHK International, Inc. The aim
is to introduce outstanding works in such fields as media art, videos,
websites, videogames, animation and comics.
The upcoming "Special Exhibition" will present 12 works from leading Japanese and world-class media artists under the theme of "Landscapes: New vision through multiple windows" at the Japan Creative Centre at the Japanese Embassy in Singapore. The exhibition's directors are Kensuke Sembo and Yae Akaiwa from the artist unit "exonemo," who have engaged in many experimental projects since 1996. Five Japanese feature animation films will also be screened at Shaw House Lido Theatre.
